Holiday Wreath Making Workshop
Gryphon Artisan Series with Nicola Adam
December 13, 2018
Beautiful aroma of fresh pine and dried citrus filled the room as we explore the artistry of wreath making in our first Gryphon Artisan Series Workshop. #ArtLivesHere
With the holiday season upon us, Gryphon Development teamed up with Kerrisdale based floral designer Nicola Adam to present a holiday-themed Gryphon Artisan Series workshop last Saturday as the first workshop of the series.
We want to thank our wonderful participants for taking your time to explore the art of wreath making at our Kerrisdale head office. It is a rare opportunity these days to enjoy and appreciate the process of making, and we are grateful to see Nicola Adam bringing her passion into the workshop by walking you through the step-by-step process of wreath making. By the end of the workshop, each participant created something unique and wonderful with the fresh, seasonal greens provided. Hosting the wreath making workshop, we hope to share our passion and philosophy for the art of living and through the wreath, we hope for you to then share that with your family and loved ones.
Thank you to Nicola Adam Floral for facilitating the workshop and providing our participants with a diverse selection of fresh materials to build their wreaths. Nicola’s passion for floral art is infectious, and her artistry is visible through her intricate floral creations. To learn more about Nicola Adam, visit here or drop by her shop at 2108 W 45th Ave, which is just around the corner of our office.
We also want to thank our Kerrisdale-based neighbours Sweet e’s for the delicious holiday treats and Bean Brothers Cafe for preparing hot apple ciders for our guests.
This workshop marks our first Gryphon Artisan Series and we cannot wait to celebrate the artistry across all trades with a series of unique workshops dedicated to our community in the next 6 months! To stay up-to-date with our upcoming Gryphon Artisan Series, follow us on our social media!
We have documented this workshop in a short recap video that will release this Friday.
Stay tuned!
